Working in a dynamic, inclusive (gotta be able to laugh at yourself) and often crazy radio sales environment (there’s a ping pong table in the lunchroom – and some really bad players all over the station), there’s a strong emphasis on fun whilst driving hard for results.
With a high energy level, you know the high gain questioning techniques able to open dialogue with potential clients and you’re not afraid of cold calling, but rather you’re so good the person on the other end of the phone just can’t ignore you.
With this strong phone technique and possible existing contacts, you can get yourself in front of potential clients to provide innovative, tailored advertising solutions designed to grow your clients’ business.
You will be responsible for the achievement of revenue targets (actually, we’ll work with you to exceed them) for the identification, securing and retention of clients for Classic Rock.
Some other preferred attributes include; you have an understanding of the local Sydney advertising market; you have the attention to detail to get it right first time and you’re someone with a creative side and an ability to follow through.
Overall we’re looking for a passionate individual with a “can do” attitude, outstanding presentation skills and an inspirational style who is fanatical about client service.
